Holiday 2019 Donation Drive and Service

Join us as we help others survive the holidays....

In partnership with social work students at Coppin State University, and other members of the community, Baltimore Legacy are uplifting the lives of persons experiencing homelessness this winter season.

How Can You Help?

Donate warm necessities or personal hygiene items. 

Collect items with your colleagues, family, and friends that meet basic needs for ADULTS without shelter. Items include: new or gently used blankets, hats, gloves, new socks, coats, women's sanitary products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, vaseline, etc.  PLEASE NO MOUTHWASH.


Donate money.

Money can be sent via PayPal to baltimoreabsw@gmail.com to purchase additional warm essentials and toiletries.  Please note in the memo: HOLIDAY 2019 DRIVE


Create care packages.

Volunteers are needed on Friday, December 27th, 5-7pm to prepare care packages for distribution. Location: 2001 Barclay St, Baltimore, MD 21218.  


Distribute items.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, December 28th, 10am-2pm, to distribute warm essentials and care packages.  Location: Healthcare for the Homeless, 421 Fallsway, Baltimore, MD 21202.

Drop off times: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Last day to drop off:  TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24th.

Volunteer Sign-Up

To volunteer on either 12/27 or 12/28, please complete the volunteer form located here.  Volunteer should at least of school-age (no toddlers please).  Please complete a form for EACH person volunteering.  Volunteers should dress warmly on 12/28, as donations will be distributed outside of the Healthcare for the Homeless facility.
